For a typical process of applying for VCCI certification, the equipment manufacturer needs to follow the steps below (here, only the cases that need to send samples for testing are listed. can be done locally).
(1) The equipment manufacturer or agent (need to become a vccl member first) submit a preliminary application.
(2) The applicant fills in the application form, and sends the product's instruction manual and technical documents to the authorized testing laboratory (AGC) (if necessary, a prototype should be provided).
(3) The AGC shall determine the inspection standard inspection items and the number of samples and report them
(4) The applicant confirms the quotation, signs the quotation back, and provides samples and technical documents required for related tests to AGC. And provide technical documents to VCCI.
(5) AGC issues a charging notice to the applicant, and the applicant prepays the certification fee according to the charging notice.
(6) AGC conducts first review of technical documents and inspection of strict products. If the technical documentation is incomplete or does not use the prescribed language, the laboratory will notify the applicant for improvement. If the test fails, the laboratory will promptly notify the applicant and decide whether to suspend the project according to the situation, allowing the applicant to improve the product until the test is qualified. At the same time, the applicant should make changes to the technical data in the original application so as to reflect the actual situation after the changes.
(7) As for the rectification fees involved in the previous link, AGC will issue a supplementary fee notice to the applicant.
(8) The applicant shall pay the rectification fee as required by the supplementary fee notice.
(9) AGC provides the applicant with a test report or technical file (TCF), as well as the VCCI compliance certificate and returns the sample.
(10) The applicant signs the VCCI assurance self-declaration and uses the VCCI logo on the product.
