With PDK 6.0, the emphasis has clearly shifted – it's less about adding test cases and more about repositioning Android Auto itself.
As a Google‑authorised Android Auto certification test lab, every major PDK update directly affects our active project scheduling, test case increments, and Receiver Library version selection strategies. PDK 6.0 represents a much larger shift than 5.0 – test plans, vehicle integration approaches, and certification paths all need reassessment.
2. Six Core Capabilities – Broken Down
2.1 Multi‑display Projection
With PDK 6.0, Android Auto can now output content to multiple in‑vehicle displays. The centre console, instrument cluster, passenger entertainment screen, and auxiliary information widgets can each host different display areas.
