2. Core Technical Construction Documents (Biggest document portfolio)
·Hardware system architecture diagram marking main MCU, 4G/5G IMS cellular module, GNSS receiver, audio codec, backup power management and CAN/Ethernet vehicle bus interface layout.
·Full circuit schematic and PCB layout focusing on power management, RF antenna matching and GNSS high-speed impedance control design.
·Detailed BOM specifying critical component part number, manufacturer and specification for cellular module, GNSS chip, backup battery and antenna; component alternation triggers supplementary certification evaluation.
·Internal/external antenna datasheet with gain, impedance, frequency range and VSWR parameter specification plus third-party antenna test report for in-house developed antenna products.
·Firmware version register listing IVS main software, IMS protocol stack and MSD V3 coding library revision number consistent with lab test report records.
·Multilingual user manual complying with destination country statutory language requirement (French for FR market, German for DE market instead of unified EU English-French mandatory rule); machine-translated manual gets rejected during NB document review.
·Product dimension drawing, physical photos and permanent marking sample with durable laser-etched E-mark approval number specification.
·Vehicle integration specification defining power supply range, wake-up signal and crash trigger pin definition for subsequent full-vehicle homologation reuse.
3. Official Lab Test Reports with Standard Version Compliance WindowPer (EU)2025/1871 transitional rule:
dual-standard acceptance valid during full 2026 calendar year: either legacy CEN/TS version or updated EN formal edition acceptable for new application, all new certification post-Jan 1 2027 strictly follows EN formal standards:
·EN17184:2024 full test report for IVS upper-layer IMS, SIP session, MSD V3 transmission, VoLTE audio and GNSS cold-start (<60s open-sky positioning ≤3m CEP95%) validation; CEN/TS17184:2022-based certificates fully invalid after Jan1,2027.
·EN17240:2024 end-to-end IVS-MNO-PSAP conformance report covering over 50 test cases for emergency recall, abnormal network recovery and eCall-only registration; legacy CEN/TS17240:2018 certificate remains valid until Jan1,2028 with staggered expiration vs EN17184 legacy standard.
4. Exclusive MSD V3 Dataset Specification FileReplace obsolete MSD V2 document; prepare dedicated specification listing ASN.1 coding rule, field length and default fill value for newly added rollover angle, passenger count and EV high-voltage battery parameter; custom extended data only stored in reserved extension field without occupying standard MSD defined payload position to avoid CAN bus data mapping error during vehicle integration.
5. GDPR Personal Data Protection Compliance FileThree core GDPR compliance points for NG eCall sensitive crash/location data: data minimization principle, multi-layer transmission encryption scheme, fixed local/PSAP server data retention duration and regulated permanent user data deletion protocol after accident settlement, compulsory NB audit document item.
6. Manufacturer DoC Declaration & COP Audit DocumentationManufacturer-issued Declaration of Conformity certifies mass-produced product consistent with certified prototype design, BOM and production process archived alongside EU REP contract; annual NB COP factory inspection file required for UN R144 certificate maintenance with IATF16949-certified factory eligible for remote audit paperwork submission.
7. Mandatory Backup Power Cycle Test Report (Enforced from 2027 New Application)Full-cycle 5min call+56min standby+5min secondary discharge verification for shared/independent eCall backup power source; mixed-use multi-functional power supply needs additional priority power supply validation document ensuring emergency eCall power cut protection. All 2026 late-stage projects recommended to complete this test in advance.
8. Newly Added Fault Simulation Technical Document ((EU)2025/1871 Mandatory File)Compulsory document per 2025 Nov effective amendment listing intermittent hardware fault trigger condition, software/hardware fault injection simulation method and pass-fail judgment criteria for non-reproducible lab failure like occasional CAN frame loss and MCU aging communication breakdown; mandatory for all new certification starting Jan1,2027.
9. Permanent Product Marking SpecificationE-mark approval number laser printed or water-proof silk-screened directly onto hardware body; no universal EU bilingual label mandate with destination-country language only required on user manuals instead of product physical marking.
China AECS GB45672-2025 Dual-Certification Supplement
China domestic mandatory AECS standard effective July1,2027 for M1/N1 vehicles requires independent certification separated from EU NG eMark: mandatory Beidou positioning, accident video backhaul and physical anti-misoperation SOS button with non-interchangeable certification documents; shared test sample available for internal pre-test but separate official test report needed for respective market approval. UAE.S5019 and Saudi SASO2944 GCC certification additionally require Arabic translated documents and local mobile operator compatibility testing.
