·Whole-Vehicle Type Test Report & Integration Document: eCall system hardware/software integration description, power timing design, airbag collision signal docking logic and functional safety risk assessment report (easily omitted by first-time applicants).
·Declaration of Conformity: Signed by vehicle manufacturer with professional Arabic translation.
·Label & Marking Document: eCall system function label, operation guide and warning mark specification.
4. UAE.S 5019 Certificate Validity & Renewal
Validity Term
·TDRA module approval: 1 year, annual renewal required. Renewal needs network operation certificate, firmware version unchanged declaration and consistency statement, no full re-testing.
·ESMA ECAS whole-vehicle certificate: 3 years, subject to official latest renewal rules.
Validity Impact Rule
Expired TDRA certificate suspends vehicle UAE customs clearance, but does not invalidate ESMA certificate. Customs clearance recovers immediately after TDRA renewal, no need for whole-vehicle re-certification.
Version Transition Rule
UAE.S 5019:2018 certificates remain valid before July 16, 2026; only 2024 version is recognized after the deadline. Arrange version upgrade in advance according to certificate expiry date and transition node.
