HiCar certification is Huawei’s official access control for devices supporting Huawei’s in-vehicle connectivity ecosystem. Without it, products cannot legally connect to Huawei phones, use the HiCar logo, or enter official channels.

2026 Latest Standards

All new certifications require HiCar SDK 6.0 or above and HarmonyOS NEXT adaptation.SDK 5.0 and older versions are no longer accepted. Existing certified products must upgrade by the end of 2026.

1.Automotive Devices: IVI systems, head units, wireless HiCar adapters, T-Box modules

2.Mobile Devices: HarmonyOS-based phones and tablets

3.In-Vehicle OS: Android or HarmonyOS-based systems with HiCar SDK 6.0+

4.Apps & Smart Home: IoT devices linking to vehicles

Excluded: ordinary chargers, basic Bluetooth speakers, non-connected devices.
