I. 2026 Core RCM Standards

1.General Standards

·Safety: AS/NZS 3820

·EMC: AS/NZS CISPR 22 (IT), CISPR 14-1 (home appliances)

2.Product-Specific

·Home appliances: AS/NZS 60335 series

·IT: AS/NZS 60950.1

·Lighting: AS/NZS 60598, 61347, 62471 (photobiological safety)

·Chargers: AS/NZS 60950.1 or 60335.2.29

3.2026 New/Updated Standards

·Smart devices: EN 303 645 (cybersecurity)

·Wireless: AS/NZS 4268.1:2025

·High-power: AS/NZS 61010.1

II. 2026 Mandatory Tests

1.All Products

·Safety: insulation, withstand voltage, temperature rise, mechanical strength

·EMC: emissions & immunity

·ESD upgraded to ±15kV

2.Product-Specific

·Wireless: RF, channel leakage

·Smart: cybersecurity (weak passwords, encryption, updates)

·Lighting: blue light RG0/RG1

·High-power: endurance, overload

III. 2026 Product Scope

1.Full RCM RequiredHome appliances, IT, wireless, smart IoT, lighting, high-power equipment.

2.SDoC Only (No Registration)Low-risk wired products, passive components.

3.ExemptMedical (TGA), automotive (ADR), aviation, military, batteries (UN38.3).
