IC certified

IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada. As a government agency, it is responsible for the certification of electrical and electronic products entering the Canadian market. its responsible product

Roughly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunication equipment, engineering and medical equipment, etc.

Similar to the FCC in the United States, ICs currently only limit electromagnetic interference.

There are two ways of self-verification and certification.

IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).

1. Must have Canadian representative address information.

2. The label should contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).

The standards for IC certification are basically the same as those of the FCC, and IC currently only limits electromagnetic interference.

ICES-001 Analog Devices: Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators

ICES-003 digital terminal equipment: Interference-Causing Equipment Standards-Digital Apparatus, such as ICES003: ITE: products and computer peripheral office equipment, etc.
