This article lists official document checklist for ERA-GLONASS certification and the validity of each material.
Technical documents, test reports and application documents.
2. Mandatory Technical Documents
·System design description
·Installation technical specifications
·Russian user manual & instruction
·Nameplate label drawing with Russian marking
·Regulatory compliance comparison table
Only core documents need full Russian translation; circuit drawings only need Russian abstract to save cost and time.
3. Validity of Test Reports
·EAC vehicle certificate is valid for 5 years; re-testing is required for renewal due to updated standards and lab qualifications.
·Test reports have no fixed expiry date but become invalid if the lab’s Eurasian recognition qualification is suspended.
·Keep full test data for market supervision inspection, with retention period covering the whole product lifecycle.
4. Application Documents
Eurasian authorized representative’s company registration, tax certificate and notarized power of attorney are mandatory. Prepare these documents simultaneously with lab testing to avoid progress delay.
5. Production Consistency Certificate
Post-certification production consistency assessment is random but mandatory once inspected. Keep complete records of parts change, software version and offline inspection.
6. Certificate Renewal
Renewal follows the same process as initial certification with full documents and test reports, reviewed per the latest regulatory version. The review cycle is shorter if no product changes.
7. Change Declaration vs Supplementary Certification
·Minor changes (interior color, software UI): Only declaration needed, no re-testing
·Core changes (module, GNSS chip, antenna solution): Supplementary test & certification required
